Diver (CPWF UK Dive)
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Captain Paul Watson Foundation UK Dive team. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the fight to protect our oceans and the creatures that call them home.
As a diver, you will work with a passionate and committed team to support our mission. You will be involved in a variety of activities, including shore dives, underwater debris recovery, scientific research dives, underwater photography and other activities as required.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the CPWF UK Dive team to remove marine debris from coastal waters
- Assist jointly with outside organisations in scientific research
- Help share social media posts to increase public awareness of CPWF's mission
- Support CPWF UK Dive campaign and initiatives in any way possible
Qualifications:
- Passion for marine conservation and protection
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Minimum PADI Rescue / BSAC Sports Diver qualification or equivalent
- Minimum 50 total dives, at least 30 UK sea dives
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Underwater photography/videography skills are desirable but not essential
- Regular diving in UK coastal waters
